Please note: Only members of the particular social club can register for its events.

You can cancel your registration for events that have no cost and have allowed self-cancellation. This will send a cancellation notice to yourself, your guest (if any) and the event host/hostess.

    The idea is that Escarpment Probus couples meet about six times a year to enjoy a dinner that each couple provides a part of.  Each couple will host at least once in their own home.  Two single people working together is considered a couple.  At the start of the season, each couple will be able to purchase a cookbook which will contain all the recipes for the season.  The cookbook will also give details of who is hosting each month and who their guests will be.   There are four couples at each dinner, including the hosts.   The cookbook also advised on who will be making what.

    Each couple is responsible for making 1/4 of the meal and providing the cost of their ingredients.  The cost of the meal will then be divided equally between the couples.  Each couple will bring their own wine/ beer/etc.

    Join us for a fun afternoon of bidding and calling, sure to keep you on your toes.

    Feel free to bring along your own snacks and beverages (reusable containers preferred). We  also remind you to bring $3 (This is the new amount effective this month), that we'll collect at each game, and donate to Grace Church.

    Registration for Bridge will open three weeks before the scheduled date. Should registration be closed due to capacity reached, please join the wait list, so we can determine if an additional table can be pulled together.

    Pinseekers, we are starting earlier this year with 12 rounds at TURTLE CREEK GOLF COURSE!  Tee times begin at 9:00 AM and you can play 9 or 18 holes.  If you’re interested in joining the golf group, contact Karen Latremouille via email karenlatremouille@gmail.com to be added to the distribution email.  You can play 1 round or all twelve rounds. All skill levels welcome.

    You will register in Wild Apricot each time you wish to play. Registration is open 12 days before starting times and you must register by 11:59pm THURSDAY before golf date if you plan to play the following Monday. You will receive an email on Saturday with your start time.

    Skip-Bo is a card game where players race to play all cards from their Stock pile in numerical order, using SKIP-BO cards as wilds.

    Gameplay

    • Drawing Cards: At the start of your turn, draw enough cards to have five in hand.
    • Playing Cards: 
      • Play cards from your hand onto Building piles in numerical order (1–12).
      • Play the top card of your Stock pile.
      • Play the top card from any of your Discard piles.
      • SKIP-BO cards are wild and can represent any number
    • Continuing Play: If you play all five hand cards, draw five more and continue your turn
    • Ending Turn: Discard one card from your hand to a Discard pile

    We ask that you bring your own snacks and beverages (in reusable containers). We also ask that you bring a $3 for the church hall rental. Thanks for your co-operation.

    As with all our activities, please register using Wild Apricot. We are not setting a limit on the attendance, as Mexican Train is flexible in the number of players required at each game board. I would ask that members who have the game, bring it with them.

    We also ask that you bring your own snacks and beverages (in reusable containers), as well as making a $3 donation for our use of the Grace Church.
