Speaker:  Jennifer Murdock, Registered Psychotherapist

Topic:  Mental Health and Aging

Bio: Jennifer graduated from the University of Guelph in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts honors degree in Psychology. She spent 5 years in corporate banking supporting high level executives before returning to school to pursue her passion of mental health. Jennifer received her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University in 2023 and has been working as a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) at Peachey Counselling since.

Jennifer will be joined by her colleague Mala Sharma. Mala is a Registered Social Service Worker and the Practice Manager at Peachey Counselling. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and a SSW Diploma from Sheridan College. Mala is committed to providing support to all and ensuring that individuals and families are directed to the services that will best support them through their mental health journey. She is passionate about care at all stages of life and ensuring that equity is achieved in all spaces. Mala strives to ensure that individuals feel heard during the intake process, as she understands that seeking support can be difficult, yet it is the most important step in one's journey.
