If it’s your first visit to Flamboro Speedway, you’re in for a memorable evening. The lively atmosphere, close-up racing, and roar of the engines make for an unforgettable experience. You’ll not only see the action, you’ll hear it and feel it!
Our visit coincides with the Speedway’s Memorial Night and Fan Appreciation Corn Roast. Following the races, everyone is invited into the pit area for a complimentary corn roast where fans can meet the drivers, collect autographs, and enjoy fresh corn in a relaxed, friendly setting.
The racing program typically lasts 2½ to 3 hours and features several different classes of stock cars, providing plenty of action and variety throughout the evening.
Helpful Tips for a Great Evening
- Plan to arrive 30 to 45 minutes before the 6:30 p.m. start (around 5:45–6:00 p.m.) to allow time for parking, purchasing refreshments, and finding good seats. (There is a "ticket" system for the concessions, line-up to buy tickets after determing how many you need, then line-up to order your food/drinks.)
- We will aim to sit near the middle of the grandstand, as it offers an excellent view of the entire oval track.
- Earplugs or earmuffs strongly recommended, as the race cars are much louder than you might expect.
- A seat cushion or blanket can make the wooden bleachers much more comfortable during the evening.
- Dress for changing temperatures. While the day may be warm, evenings can become quite cool.
- Stay for the final feature race, which is usually the highlight of the night.
- After the racing, be sure to enjoy the free Fan Appreciation Corn Roast and take advantage of the opportunity to meet the drivers and explore the pit area.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening of thrilling racing, great company, and a unique local entertainment experience!
